Ministry Of Water Resources Signs a Cooperation Memorandum with APSU Org.
The Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry, Mr. Raed Abed Zaid Al-Jashamy, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Abso Organization for Water Sustainability, represented by Dr. Faisal Al-Adhari, regarding cooperation in water issues.
He stressed during the signing the ministry’s keenness to extend the horizons of cooperation with the organization and civil society organizations in all aspects of the professional development of the ministry’s staff, especially in light of the impact of climate change and its effects on the reality of the water resources sector in the country.
And based on the ministry’s keenness to achieve the sixth goal of the sustainable development goals adopted by the United Nations as a plan of action for a better world and optimal use of water resources worldwide.
It is mentioned that APSO Water Sustainability Organization is a non-governmental organization approved by the Non-Governmental Organizations Department in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers for cooperation in water issues in line with and upgrading the basic requirements of the crisis in light of the increasing interest in water and the escalating need for it as a result of the increase in population numbers and the impact of development in various fields In line with the Ministry’s tasks, responsibilities and objectives.
